Andrea Cavallini

Andrea Cavallini is responsible for A2A Group’s Market Business Unit.

Born in Milan in 1969, he is married with two daughters.

He graduated in 1993 in Business Economics from Università Bocconi, Milan, with specialization in Marketing and has about 15 years’ professional experience in management consultancy, the last nine of which in the leading Italian firm in the sector (Bain & Company).

In 2007-2008, he headed a team of consultants working with A2A management on the AEM-ASM merger and on subsequent post-merger integration activities.

With the A2A Group since 2009, initially as Managing Director of ASPEM S.p.A. (a Varese-based multi-utility which had just been acquired by A2A), in 2010, he became head of A2A Energia SpA, the group’s main electricity and natural gas sales business, and since 2015, has been president and managing director.

He is currently head of the Market Business Unit, operating in the energy retail (A2A Energia S.p.A, Yada Energia Srl) and energy efficiency (A2A Energy Solutions Srl) businesses, also through a number of A2A Group subsidiary and associate companies.

He is an enthusiastic sportsman and keen mathematician, with teaching experience.

  (2011 - 2015: Board member; Director since 2010).

• 2000 - 2009: Management Consultant, Bain & Company Italy (Manager from 2001 and Associate Partner from 2007.)
• 1995 - 2000: Management Consultant, Conceive Management Consulting (Partner from 1999).
• 1993 - 1994: Controller, paper sector company.
