Biography

Born in Milan in 1978, he is married with five children.

Graduated in Economics and Commerce in 2021 from Milan’s Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
After a brief entrepreneurial experience in the ‘new economy’ era, Lorenzo worked at Bain & Company, a leading management consulting firm. He joined as an Associate Consultant and remained with Bain until 2010, rising to the position of Manager.

His clients there included all the leading companies in the energy and utilities sector, including A2A, Italy’s top multi-utility. As a consultant, he took part in the setting up of A2A in early 2008, following all the principal activities of post-merger integration and then joining the company in 2010.
At A2A, after working as assistant to the Chief Executive – Corporate and Market, Lorenzo moved to take charge of Business Development at M&A, participating in key projects, among which the acquisition of Edipower.

In January 2015, he was appointed Head of Strategy and Innovation, then also moving into the Generation and Trading Business Unit, of which he became head in 2020.
