Lucia Monti

Lucia Monti has been head of legal affairs and compliance at A2A Group since May 2021.

She was born in 1970 in the province of Rome and is married.

In 1995, she graduated in Law from the Università Cattolica in Milan and, in 1996, completed her master’s degree in International Affairs at ISPI in Milan.

Immediately after her studies, she moved to London, where she gained professional experience at Ashurst in the M&A sector and then in two telecommunications start-ups.

After this, she worked for law firms in Milan, passing her Italian state exam in 2004, and for an engineering company.

She worked as an in-house lawyer for about 15 years in the renewable energy sector. Furthermore, for about 10 years, she held various positions (from senior legal counsel to general counsel of the renewables business unit) at the ERG Group and then, at Falck Renewables, took up the post of general counsel.

In the course of her career, she has been involved in numerous M&A and Business Development trials in the renewables, WTE and telecommunications sectors.

She speaks English and French and, in her free time, loves travelling, reading and running.
