Application phases

Our recruiting process uses technology so as to make contact with candidates effective and increasingly digital while still leaving space for further information gathering and for direct meetings in person.

Candidates will always meet their line manager, a member of the HR team and, for more senior positions, the senior management of the relevant area. For the initial stages, we favour remote interviews whereas candidates will be invited for a face-to-face meeting in the final stages. Interviews in person are particularly important for all technical positions in the field or at our facilities.

Our recruitment process has the following phases:

Depending on each single case, selection stages may vary

Graduates

We use attitudinal tests and group assessment; we organize career days and recruitment days during which participants are involved in group dynamic and role play activities.

Operational profiles

Group and motivational interviews.

Technical or management profiles

We more thoroughly assess knowledge and problem-solving abilities through technical interviews and ad hoc business cases. We are implementing virtual assistant solutions to help candidates in the application phase, responding to a number of pre-screening questions.

FAQs

  • You can find job openings on our dedicated recruitment platform. We also publish employment opportunities on our LinkedIn channel.

  • The only A2A contacts to be considered reliable are those from corporate e-mails with the a2a.it domain. You should avoid all contacts with non-corporate e-mails.

How to avoid scams

Beware of fake job postings online

The number of online jobseekers falling victim to scams is on the rise. This type of scam is called “Online Recruitment Scam” and is spreading in various countries, especially in the United States.
Scammers contact the potential victim via e-mail or through social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Indeed, etc.) after posting a fake job offer. Less often, this can also be via letter.
Pretending to represent a company, the scammer interviews the unknowing candidates with a view to obtaining sensitive information that can be used to perpetrate other fraud.
Victims who do not discover an attempted scam in time, in fact, could suffer financial loss or identity theft.

  • The only reliable A2A contacts for selection purposes are the company e-mail addresses with the a2a.it domain name.
You should therefore beware of any other attempt to contact you from non-company e-mails.

  • All our group companies operate in Italy. As such, selection processes are mainly aimed at recruiting people in Italy.
We have two offices in London and Brussels, and sometimes carry out candidate searches for these offices.
We do not hire for our Italian offices remotely from other countries.

  • We invite candidates to consider only the job opportunities that are available on our official channels:

The selection process begins only after an application has been received on official platforms, and after registering with our Career Site.

  • Recruiters from the Recruiting and Selection Team may use three channels to contact you:

    • By e-mail, from an official address with the a2a.it domain name
    • With a direct phone call from the recruiter, following an application on the official A2A website
    • Initially with a Linkedin message on the same platform after which, and only if the candidate is interested, this is always followed by an invitation to send an application to the official website and, only after this, by e-mail or phone
  • Please report any suspicious contacts by writing to: selezione@a2a.it
