
Elisabetta Pistis was born on 10 November 1978. After graduating in Law, she completed a masters degree in the organization and functioning of public authorities at the ‘La Sapienza’ University of Rome. Since 2004, she has been a member of the Bar Association and, since 2006, a court of cassation lawyer. She has written articles for specialist journals on the subjects of administrative law, tenders, regulatory issues.
She has been working as a lawyer in the sector of administrative and regulatory law since 2004.
She was a partner at the Guarino legal practice, founded by Prof. Giuseppe Guarino, from 2010 to 2019.
Since 2019, she has been a partner at the Orsingher Ortu legal practice, with offices in Milan and Rome, where she is responsible for the administrative and regulatory law department.
She graduated with distinction in 2001, presenting a thesis on the relationship between administrative acts and EU regulations.
In 2002, she successfully completed studies at the school of specialization for legal professions at the University of Cagliari and, in 2003 completed a masters degree in the organization and functioning of public administration at the ‘La Sapienza’ University of Rome. In 2003, she won a scholarship to study the relationship between administrative acts and global administrative law under Sabino Cassese, Chair of Administrative Law at the ‘La Sapienza’ University of Rome. In 2018, she took part in the training course on corporate governance and reporting of meetings of corporate bodies held at the Borsa Italiana (London Stock Exchange Group) on 18 January 2018. In 2022, she took the Board Academy specialist course for board members, held at the Luiss Business School, in collaboration with Assogestioni, with particular reference to listed companies.
