Training

Implement training programs to reskill and upskill, and to further professional development (also in areas such as sustainability, anti-corruption measures, human rights).

Action 2023

  • During 2023, 5 webinars on the “Ambientiamoci” project addressing biodoversity, plastic waste, climate change, development of hydrogen and batteries as drivers of the energy transition, rare earths, and lithium.
  • The “Development Center” initiative where experienced coaches have been following young colleagues in their professional development since 2021. 
  • “Evolutionary Journey” a digital and interactive journey of wellbeing that is designed to provide the tools for wellbeing, by paying attention to quality of life and promoting behavior patterns for a personal balance and harmony. 
  • In 2023, A2A started working with the University of Food Sciences in Pollenzo (CN), organizing two conferences to promote reflections on responsible resource management and safeguarding the factors necessary for life. The contents and insights that emerged were collected in conference proceedings for the students and the scientific community, and in addition, 2 podcast series entitled “There is No Life Without Water” and “There is No Life Without Land”.
  • In 2023 A2A reaffirmed its commitment to listen to young people and engage them. During the Giffoni Film Festival, in fact, the “GenZ Forum” was organized, a moment of dialogue and discussion between A2A and 25 selected young people. The participants spoke about the “crossroadss” in sustainability communication expressing their views on how companies face this challenge and communicate their ESG results.
     

Actions following industrial plan

A structured, multi-year program to upskill and reskill the technical and digital skills of all has been implemented with the aim of supporting their professional development.
